This past Tuesday, our Chaplain, James Benson, gave another one of his outstanding sermons. He does this three times each week, on Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday, always bringing a fresh message that can be helpful to the teenage boys assembled before him. Sometimes, those sermons are extraordinarily good. We wanted to make a special effort to share this sermon with the parents and families of our cadets, as well as our alumni and extended FUMA family, so you can see for yourself the kind of message these young men get to hear during our chapel services.
In this particular "best of" chapel service, Chaplain Benson addresses the power of the words we choose to say. He offers a list of 6 things every teenage boy should learn to say. And he follows that with a list of 6 phrases that changed someone's life. This powerful sermon will make all who hear it think about whether they are using their words to build others up, and seek to use their words in positive ways.
