Honor Graduates for 2016-2017

Cadet Ozz Ben-David was recognized as an Honor Graduate in the Class of 2017 with an accumulated grade point average of 4.432. He plans to attend the United States Military Academy at West Point this fall. Cadet Ben-David, a senior, is the son of Doug and Amanda Gold of Sherman Oaks, California. He has attended Fork Union Military Academy since August 2014 when he enrolled as a sophomore.

Cadet Benjamin Richard Chiovaro was recognized as an Honor Graduate in the Class of 2017 with an accumulated grade point average of 3.651. He plan to attend James Madison University this fall. Cadet Chiovaro, a senior, is the son of Richard and Catherine Chiovaro of Palmyra, Virginia. He has attended Fork Union Military Academy since September 2011 when he enrolled as a sixth grader.

Cadet Brennon Eley Garrison was recognized as an Honor Graduate in the Class of 2017 with an accumulated grade point average of 4.073. He plans to attend Virginia Tech this fall. Cadet Garrison, a senior, is the son of Lester and Melissa Garrison of Orange, Virginia. He has attended Fork Union Military Academy since August 2013 when he enrolled as a freshman.

Cadet Micah Benjamin Giszack was recognized as an Honor Graduate in the Class of 2017 with an accumulated grade point average of 4.380. He plans to attend Liberty University this fall. Cadet Giszack, a senior, is the son of Todd and Katherine Giszack of Fork Union, Virginia. He has attended Fork Union Military Academy since September 2010 when he enrolled as a sixth grader.

Cadet Geon Woo Han was recognized as an Honor Graduate in the Class of 2017 with an accumulated grade point average of 4.093. He plans to attend Mt. San Antonio College this fall. Cadet Han, a senior, is the son of Seok Kyun Han and Mi Hea Park of Chun Ahn, South Korea. He has attended Fork Union Military Academy since September 2012 when he enrolled as an eighth grader.

Cadet Michael Patrick Head was recognized as an Honor Graduate in the Class of 2017 with an accumulated grade point average of 4.182. He plans to attend the University of Virginia this fall. Cadet Head, a senior, is the son of Christopher and Elizabeth Head of Roanoke, Virginia. He has attended Fork Union Military Academy since August 2013 when he enrolled as a freshman.

Cadet Samer Ehab Ibrahim Moustafa Khalil was recognized as an Honor Graduate in the Class of 2017 with an accumulated grade point average of 4.01. He plans to attend the University of Waterloo this fall. Cadet Khalil, a senior, is the son of Ehab Khalil and Naglaa Bakr of Cairo, Egypt. He has attended Fork Union Military Academy since August 2014 when he enrolled as a sophomore.

Cadet Ikdoo Kim was recognized as an Honor Graduate in the Class of 2017 with an accumulated grade point average of 3.854. He plans to attend George Mason University this fall. Cadet Kim, a senior, is the son of Eun Jung Cho of Seoul, South Korea and the nephew of Eun Kyoung and Michael Richards of Bethesda, Maryland. He has attended Fork Union Military Academy since August 2014 when he enrolled as a sophomore.

Cadet Walker Albin Lander was recognized as an Honor Graduate in the Class of 2017 with an accumulated grade point average of 4.821. He plans to attend the United States Naval Academy this fall. Cadet Lander, a senior, is the son of Wayne Lander of Rockdale, Illinois, and Elzbieta Lander of Elwood, Illinois. He has attended Fork Union Military Academy since August 2013 when he enrolled as a freshman.

Cadet Graham Evan Luongo was recognized as an Honor Graduate in the Class of 2017 with an accumulated grade point average of 4.11. He plans to attend the United States Coast Guard Academy this fall. Cadet Luongo, a senior, is the son of James and Trisha Luongo of Middle Village, New York. He has attended Fork Union Military Academy since August 2013 when he enrolled as a freshman.

Cadet Andrew Charles Morris was recognized as an Honor Graduate in the Class of 2017 with an accumulated grade point average of 4.373. He plans to attend Rochester Institute of Technology this fall. Cadet Morris, a senior, is the son of Dawn Morris of Louisa, Virginia. He has attended Fork Union Military Academy since September 2015 when he enrolled as a junior.

Cadet David Benjamin Pitts III was recognized as an Honor Graduate in the Class of 2017 with an accumulated grade point average of 3.969. He plans to attend Rhodes College this fall. Cadet Pitts III, a senior, is the son of David and Dana Pitts of Marietta, Georgia. He has attended Fork Union Military Academy since August 2014 when he enrolled as a sophomore.

Cadet Gavin Jarrett Tomchick was recognized as an Honor Graduate in the Class of 2017 with an accumulated grade point average of 3.762. He plans to attend James Madison University this fall. Cadet Tomchick, a senior, is the son of George Tomchick and Honor Garcia-Tomchick of Falls Church, Virginia. He has attended Fork Union Military Academy since August 2014 when he enrolled as a sophomore.

Cadet Benjamin James Vanderpool was recognized as an Honor Graduate in the Class of 2017 with an accumulated grade point average of 3.593. He will attend MercyHurst University this fall. Cadet Vanderpool, a senior, is the son of Brian and Elizabeth Vanderpool of Medina, Ohio. He has attended Fork Union Military Academy since August 2013 when he enrolled as a freshman.

Cadet Yuchen Zhang was recognized as an Honor Graduate in the Class of 2017 with an accumulated grade point average of 3.5. He plans to attend Virginia Military Institute this fall. Cadet Zhang, a senior, is the son of Zhang Fenglei and Zhu Jun of Changchun, China. He has attended Fork Union Military Academy since August 2014 when he enrolled as a sophomore.

Cadet Xingjian Zhao was recognized as an Honor Graduate in the Class of 2017 with an accumulated grade point average of 4.103. He plans to attend Penn State University at Harrisburg this fall. Cadet Zhao, a senior, is the son of Hong Zhao and Fan Zheng of Hangzhou, China. He has attended Fork Union Military Academy since January 2014 when he enrolled as a freshman.

Cadet Zwilling, a senior, is the son of Laura Plaia of Charlottesville, Virginia and Richard Zwilling of Rixeyville, Virginia.
