The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the Fork Union area due to a mix of wintry weather expected to develop throughout Friday and Saturday. Snow accumulation of up to four inches is possible in this region. Please use caution when driving or walking in areas that have received snow or freezing rain.
We do not expect this first blast of wintry weather this year to have a significant effect on our operations as a boarding school, but it is likely that athletic contests and other events may be affected. We encourage you to keep an eye on the postings of scheduled events, as cancellations or postponements will be posted as soon as we learn of them.
- The annual Christmas Tournament hosted by the postgraduate basketball team WILL be held as scheduled, according to the latest information available to us at this time, as the teams involved have either arrived already, or are travelling ahead of the weather.
- ACT Testing scheduled for Saturday, December 9th, WILL be held as scheduled.
