Three cadets at Fork Union Military Academy were today awarded their PADI Certification as SCUBA open water divers, following a recent dive trip with the SCUBA Club.
Thomas Cullum, the son of Mrs. Daphne Lodge and Dr. Jeffrey Lodge of Franklin, Tennessee, is a junior in his first year at Fork Union. Chandler Ragland, also a first-year junior at the Academy, is the son of Chad and Melissa Ragland of Keswick, Virginia. Zion Phifer, son of Jeffrey Phifer and Sylivia Smith-Phifer of Charlotte, North Carolina, enrolled this year in Fork Union Military Academy as a junior.
Making the presentation were CPT Bennet Radinovic, the SCUBA Club's faculty adviser, and Mr. John Dawson, the General Manager of Charlottesville, Virginia's Dive Connections, who provided the instruction for the cadets.
